Roadtrip 2021-2022 Winter: Seaside - Yachats - Brookings

Day 23 - Farmer's Market, picnic at the Marina, Mill Beach

We wake up to wallowing and drifting fog this morning.

It is fog - not smog.

The fog is now just a background feature as we pull into the X2 weekly Brookings Farm Market. Great provisions - we score big time!

Our perfectly private picnic spot at the Brookings Marina.

At the not-so-glamourous entrance of the World-Famous Chetco Park, Ella makes her official contribution to the City of Brookings Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Renewed Topographics.

Ce n'est pas une pipe.

Chetco Park consists of a bunch of lumps like this.

The Chetco Bridge - a very spanky and sturdy one at that.

That pesky fog is waiting just offshore to pounce.

Meanwhile, back at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, the manager of the plant's Sausage Division consults with the Chief Engineer. There is a strange fascination with these multi-purpose facilities in Southern Oregon.

Texture entanglement.

Lone Ranch had a sea witch - Mill Beach has an official skull.

..... and a friendly sea monster.

Making dog happy.
